our ServicesHillside Veterinary Hospital is dedicated to providing a friendly experience for you and your pet at every visit. We believe in getting to know your four-legged friends to establish trust, comfort and maintain a long-lasting relationship. Which is why we recommend bringing every pet in for routine wellness exams at least once a year.
We provide wellness check-ups and routine care, as well as urgent and emergency care when your pet is experiencing an illness. We can typically diagnose and treat most common illnesses such as GI upset, Diabetes, endocrine disorders, arthritis, allergies/skin disorders, etc. If there is a case that we aren’t capable of treating or diagnosing, we work closely with local specialists and referral hospitals so your pets can still receive the care they need. |

appointmentsWe are happy to provide appointments for all routine services, such as:
- Vaccinations - Routine Diagnostics and Lab Work - Regular check-ups - New puppy/kitten exams drop off'sWe understand you have a busy schedule, which is why we offer a drop-off service for your pet’s visit.
We ask that you pre-fill out our 'Drop Off Consent Form' prior to the visit, and bring it along to your appointment. Don't worry - our friendly staff will ensure your pet is comfortable and cared for at all times! If your pet is being dropped off at our hospital, we require a Drop-Off Consent Form to be filled out. Please be sure to provide as much detail as possible when filling out. PLEASE NOTE: A pet being scheduled as a 'Drop Off' WILL spend the majority of the day in our hospital. When we schedule these visits, we will give you an "arrival time", this is not an "appointment", as drop offs are examined by our doctors in the order in which they come in, with emergencies taking precedence. Please be assured the pets are placed in appropriately sized kennels and given water and/or a litter box, and taken out for walks as indicated. A staff member will call you with an update once your pet has been seen/treated. veterinary acupunctureAcupuncture – the ancient Chinese art of inserting small needles into acupuncture points- can help pets too.

We also work closely with a mobile ultra-sonographer (by appointment only). This allows us to obtain full abdominal ultrasounds, as well as echocardiograms of the heart, right here in our hospital. These images are submitted to a board-certified radiologist and/or cardiologist for interpretation. Our veterinarians will review these reports and discuss the findings with you, in order to determine the best course of treatment. We are able to perform radiographs quickly and safely with our on-site digital low-dose x-ray machine. |
